I’m Amber Harris — a photographer and visual artist exploring the blurred lines between body, identity, and perception.

My work often begins with the self. Using close-up photography and experimental processes, I examine how sensory experience shapes the way we exist in the world. I’m especially drawn to moments of vulnerability, distortion, and the tension between physical form and inner reality.

Photography has become both a way of documenting and understanding — a way of processing the invisible things: emotion, memory, touch, and silence. Much of my recent work reflects on mental health, neurodivergence, and the complexity of human connection. I’m interested in what we hide, what we reveal, and how we navigate those in-between spaces.

I live and work in Portsmouth UK, and you can usually find me behind the camera, in the studio, or talking to dogs at the café I work in.

Thank you for being here.
